The semifinals for TBS Counter-Strike: Global Offensive league ELeague did not disappoint. The Fnatic lineup played exceptionally well in the semifinals first match against Natus Vincere as it demonstrated the teams return to dominance. In the second match, Virtus.pro made easy work of mousesports for its bid for the final showdown. By the end of the night, Fnatic and Virtus.pro had secured their spots in the grand finals, where theyll fight for a first place prize of $390,000.Fnatic (FNC) versus Natus Vincere (NaVi) is a classic matchup between two consistent and world-class teams, but the series didnt start that way. Despite NaVis small lead in the beginning, FNC won 12 straight rounds on the counter-terrorist side and even played a round where every team member had an AWP. The first map was a FNC blowout at 16-4.It was a closer affair on Train, the second map, with a 16-14 FNC victory. NaVi showcased its amazing ability to keep its composure and Ladislav Guardian Kovács almost carried his team to a third map, but FNCs steady rifler Dennis dennis Edman matched him every step of the way. FNC is a team that looks unstoppable even in a matchup that could have been the grand finals of any major tournament. The finale of the night pitted tournament dark horse mousesports against the ever-consistent Virtus.pro (VP). VP plowed through Train on map one. The map, a VP signature, would have been a difficult mountain to climb for even the toughest opponents, and mousesports were outmatched. Whether it was Pawe? byali Bieliński or VPs classic star Janusz Snax Pogorzelski, the squad never ran out of answers or bullets.Map two exemplified VPs advantage in experience, patience, and composure. Mousesports ended the first half with the lead, but VPs ability to tilt its opponents came through. VPs slow pace, patience despite deficits, and ability to trade efficiently crushed through the opposing team. Unfortunately for mousesports fans, the talented Nikola NiKo Kova? just couldnt deliver. VP will move on to fight FNC for the ELeague grand finals. Kendall Wright Jersey . Brad Jacobs and his Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., team took control of the game early. At a Manhattan federal court hearing, attorney Jordan Siev said his law office has gotten more evidence nearly every day to support its lawsuit accusing MLB and Selig of going on a "witch hunt" to ruin Rodriguezs reputation and career. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Chris Archer pitched seven strong innings and Desmond Jennings hit a two-run homer to lead the Tampa Bay Rays to a 2-1 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Friday night. Archer (1-1) limited the Orioles to Manny Machados third-inning RBI single and Ryan Flahertys fifth-inning double in his second start of the season. The 24-year-old right-hander spent the first two months of the season at Triple-A Durham and allowed five runs and seven hits in four innings of a 5-0 loss to Cleveland after being promoted to the majors last weekend. Jennings homered to the deepest part of the ball park in the seventh inning off Jason Hammel (7-4), who lost on the road for the first time this year after winning his first six decisions away from Camden Yards. Archer allowed one run, walked two and struck out two to earn his second career victory. Joel Peralta worked the eighth for the Rays, and Fernando Rodney finished the combined two-hitter with a perfect ninth for his 13th save in 18 opportunities. Hammel followed up his shortest outing of the season by taking a 1-0 lead into the seventh. The right-hander allowed five runs in three-plus innings of a 10-3 loss to Detroit last Saturday and was ejected from that game after yielding home runs to three consecutive batters and then hitting Matt Tuiasosopo with a pitch in the left shoulder. The Orioles starter yielded two runs and six hits in 6 2-3 innings this time. Archer began the season as one of the top prospects in Tampa Bays minor league system. He made six appearances in the majors last season, including four starts, going 1-3 with a 4.60 ERA. The Rays starter walked Chris Dickerson and Nate McLouth ahead of Machados two-oout RBI single in the third.dddddddddddd He gave up a two-out double to Flaherty in the fifth, but escaped further damage when Adam Jones grounded to shortstop to end the inning. Hammel, the first Baltimore pitcher to enter June with at least seven wins since Mike Mussina in 1999, was just as good through six innings. The Rays stranded runners in scoring position in the third and fourth innings, with Hammel retiring Kelly Johnson on a fly ball to right field to end one threat and getting Luke Scott to fly to centre to stop the other. James Loney singled leading off the seventh for the fourth hit off Hammel. Jennings hit his sixth homer of the season to centre field on the first pitch. NOTES: Reigning AL Cy Young Award winner David Price threw his first bullpen session since being placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left triceps. The Tampa Bay ace said he felt good after throwing 38 pitches. Price is scheduled to throw again Monday and hopes to pitch in a simulated game soon. ...
