Officine Panerai has announced that athlete, explorer, and inspirational speaker Arthur Guérin-Boëri has become a Friend of the Brand. This unique collaboration, born out of a shared passion for the ocean, connects Officine Panerai with this determined adventurer. Arthur is an accomplished freediver, having set eight world records, two of which were for ice dives under extreme conditions. Beyond his athletic pursuits, he is passionate about exploring marine culture and promoting understanding of the fragile marine ecosystem.

Born and raised in the heart of Paris, Arthur Guérin-Boëri has always been drawn to the world of the ocean. His urban childhood, far from tropical beaches, instilled in him a thirst for adventure and a deep connection to the unknown. Speaking of his uncanny connection to the ocean, Arthur said, "Growing up in the heart of Paris, even though the vastness of the ocean seemed so far away from my childhood, the call of the deep always resonated within me." As a teenager, he found a sense of belonging and fulfillment in the waters of the Mediterranean, and gradually developed a passion for freediving.

It wasn't until 2010, at the age of 26, that Arthur Guérin-Boëri decided to devote himself to the sport full-time, joining a freediving club. He quickly rose to prominence in competitions and officially joined the French national team in 2013. This marked a turning point in his life.

Over the years, he has achieved remarkable success, reaching extraordinary heights, including five world championships and eight world records, two of which were for ice diving, demonstrating his ability to push the limits of the human body in extreme conditions.

Today, Arthur Guérin-Boëri is engaged in projects that transcend the boundaries of sport. Through the documentary series "L'Od yssée Salée," he shares his discoveries and profound understanding of the ocean. Arthur hopes to raise awareness of ecosystem conservation through exquisitely detailed and beautiful footage and a genuine documentary perspective.
